Steph’s portraits and illustrations evoke surreal, ethereal impressions that capture the personality and emotions of her subjects. What words can’t describe, her works do the telling through imagery, carrying subdued overtones told by a colorful palette. Themes found in her works usually stem from personal anxieties and experiences, her struggles with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), her preferences and her faith, with the subjects often portraying these emotions through a lively and vivid representation of the eyes. When she is not working on commissions and personal paintings, she conducts classes on watercolor painting. She has conducted workshops around Metro Manila and in Cebu City, to date.
