About me

I work on drawing a small universe in me.
Through a fractal with a small detail structure resembling or embracing the whole
I want to see the whole of our lives and the universe.
A gaze to look at the universe in a small space beyond origin and creation.
This brain, this round and small nest
How do I (we) make and light up my (our) mind and life?
It is my job to go beyond ontological questions about life to epistemological inquiry.
First, "Cocoon" has multilateral meanings.
It is a space of birth and maturity,
It is an intrinsic self in which the direction is to stay while moving.
It means "housing" that floats and grows more than the meaning of isolated "cocooning".
I wanted to express that we live by creating our own hideout in different shapes and colors and through this the forms and times of life
that communicate and share between small spaces.
And another artwork,
"The wrinkles (gyeol...is one of the indigenous words of Korea.
Like wood grain or wave or texture of mind) of the brain" is countless emotions and times are permeated.
The wrinkles (gyeol) are transmitted through 100
billion nerve cells how we create our emotions and minds.
It is an operation that allows us to meet our lives and the universe in which we exist.
