About me
Hanna is an Intuitive Artist. She paints with a sense and joy of freedom, freedom to express, freedom to explore, freedom to be and freedom to play. The kind of freedom she experiences when painting. Her paintings show the poetry in colors dancing graciously in perfect symphony. They are unapologetic, expressive, colorful, bold and at the same time a feast to the eyes and soothing to the soul.
From abstraction to surrealism, Hanna’s painting impression knows no boundaries, an endless expedition in the vastness of space, fearlessly exploring the unknown, trusting and allowing each stroke to take its form and allowing each color to speak to each other. Each painting is a soul expedition, an expression of her intimate inward journey. A journey her artworks invite people to embark in.
Artist Statement:
Life is an art, an expression and for me that expression is painting.
I believe that a painting can influence someone’s mood and state of mind. It can alter a feeling from restlessness to calmness, from a feeling of sadness to a feeling of hopefulness, from a feeling of pain to a feeling of love. This is the reason why I paint and this is the reason why my paintings revolve around the theme of life, of light and love, of beauty and hope and of unity and peace. It is my intent and my stand to contribute these to mankind in this manner and in this medium.
Hanna received several international awards such as:
- Special Merit Award & Special Recognition Award by Light Space and Time's All Women's Annual Juried International Art Contest 2018.
-Two Artworks were chosen for inclusion in Fusion Art’s 3rd Annual Colorful Abstractions International Juried Art Exhibition for the month of November 2017.
- Top 5 Artists in Artist.sg.com Online International Art Contest. Artworks landed in top 2, 3 & 4 out of 130
submissions from over 50 artists.
