Trying to function as a human being.
Photography for me is pure observation. I’ve been recovering from a deep depression which has taken a couple os years from my life a career. This is my way to blow off steam and try to see beauty in the world again. Sometimes it is not easy. Born and raised in Brazil, very fond of my childhood memories when I was happy and didn’t know it. Everytime I visit my home town it looks smaller and bleaker, or maybe I’m just older. Sometimes I feel my mind stopped maturing at 19 and everyday I’m still just a boy in a man’s body. It gets worse every day.
Work / Education
International Film Academy of São Paulo student. Formerly in York University Film Production BFA program.
My passion for filmmaking began in high school by making a small documentary. From then on I knew exactly what I wanted and never looked back. Probably never will either. If I’ll die tying, that is the real question.
