Catherine Tableau is a Vancouver-based artist whose practice is primarily focusing on painting with two dominant materials, plaster and light.
She studied at the University of Nice (France) and at the École Municipale des Beaux Arts de Nice between 1987 and 1994.
In 2001, she emigrated to Canada and lived on Cortes Island (BC) where she started her practice. In 2010, she moved to Vancouver.
Her work has been showed in group and solo exhibitions, in public and private galleries in France and in Canada, and is part of different private and corporate collections in France and in North America.
