About me
I am an Italian artist living and working in Forlì in Italy. My style is considered strong and energetic accompanied by the choice of many and sometimes eccentric colours. The images are characterised by an intense primitivism someone says that seem to be graphites influenced by principal art current of ninetieth. Some of these features can e found in the new expressionism, in po art and partially in Art Brut in Dubuffet e Basquiat but my style cannot be brought back to an unique art current.
One of the most recurrent themes in all my paintings is "the female figure", sometimes statical and tribal represent an expression of precariousness of the body due to the passing of the time and due to all the pleasant and sad events who change our physical features. Real women became symbols, expression of the representation of artist's life.
An other important theme found in my artworks could be considered "red lines", vertical red lines that represent in the space the conflict between the artist freedom to express himself and boundaries and barriers imposed by the conventions of the modern world.
The emotion is my purpose.
In my paintings I want to lead the observer to travel, but not in a geographical way with traditional means of transport but a deeper journey not only in mine inner world and in my feelings and emotions and sometimes madness but in a certain way a travel in each one of us who wants to look not only all around but also inside of ourselves.
No other words but my hope to get you excited when you are going to observe my paintings in the same way my works excite me during their creation
