About me
Works as documentation about arts and culture in the Jakarta Post and freelance graphic designers based in Surakarta, Indonesia.
Learning about the arts, especially painting autodidact. Deepening knowledge and skills in art work by studying with senior artists in Yogyakarta.
Painting in a decorative, symbolic style, by packaging ideas, criticisms, restlessness and delusion in line, shapes and color. The stylation which I use in my art works is traditional stylation influenced by the wayang kulit and wayang beber ( Javanese shadow puppet show). The deconstruction of human, animal and all figurative form in wayang kulit became the main inspiration of my painting, which helped me in pouring various stories on the surface of the canvas.
