About me
He joined several art groups such as "let's paint" , International Watercolor Society Ph, philippine guild of watercolorists, phil pastel artists to name a few. These groups opened his eyes and helped him out to immerse himself into different art activities and events, to hone his artistic skills, showcase his potentials and expose himself to art and culture. Also, these groups paved the way for him to reconnect with people, rediscover himself and his capabilities as an Artist. At first, Art was only just his past time, it was only a hobby just to burn time. Little by little did he know that Art actually is starting to dig a hole in his heart, creating its own spot, making itself his number one passion. As time goes by, Art became his Life. Through practice, he was able to develop his own style, a product of self-exploring and self rediscovering with the help of people around him that even became his inspiration to do more. As a self taught artist, ton ton is still making his time, indulging in every detail, sketching emotions and sceneries, continuing to work hard to develop more and learn more. He wanted his drawings/paintings to speak to him and to other people. He wanted something with pure depth and definition when it comes to his Art. when it comes to his style, he doesnt want to capture the whole image of his subject matter, or copy it perfectly; he wanted imperfections, unfinished sketches, something that will make his viewers crave for more. Something that will let his audience use their imaginations. He wanted edges and curves to add up interest to his pieces. His different influences made his Art a stand out. His neutral colors were amazing. His taste and skill as an artist is a true proof that he will do a long way. He love to use striking colors, different brush strokes and even invented his own color palette to express his own version of life, urbanscapes and sceneries. His use of brush strokes, lines, contrast and shadows Were really fascinating.
