Born in Kuwait, 1988, Samaha holds a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts (Painting & Drawing) from The University of Jordan, College of Art & Design.
Upon graduating, Samaha continued to be a full-time artist, practiced painting and worked as a teaching assistant at the studio of artist Aziz Ammoura for 4 years, in Amman, Jordan.
In 2015, she founded the Art Studio.Amman in Jabal Allweibdeh, a creative space where she paints, teaches drawing & painting for all ages, holds art events, sells professionally hand-made & primed canvases, as well as does professional artwork photography.
The main themes of Samaha’s woks vary from figurative, semi figurative to cloudy sky-scenes and semi-abstract walls, to a mixture of all. She mainly works with oil colors, but has also explored different mediums such as watercolors, pastel, acrylics and mixed media.
Fond of the human body and trying to capture different emotional states of the human being, the artist focuses on expressions and emotional states to portray in her paintings. The surfaces of her paintings float with cold hues of blue, because according to her, she doesn’t feel the completion and tranquility of the artwork without that specific colour.
