Description
About me
Local amateur artist in the Imperial Missouri area. Enjoy painting in still life, sea scapes, landscapes, traditionalist, impressionist and a slight bit of realism in paintings. Enjoy studio work but shifting to plein air. Have been painting in oils since 2017 after a twenty year break. Self taught, most paintings are from memories of places I visited as a kid growing up in Illinois and traveling the states with my mother, looking to get out of the studio and begin plein air paintings of local and not so local sights in the Jefferson and St. Louis county area. Nothing specific, just a bit of the local scenery and hangouts around the area.
