About me
Daluyon: 29 year-old dreamer, born and raised in the northern mountain city of the Philippines. I am an engineer, photographer, and a digital nomad who delights in getting lost in unfamiliar places - whether it be in urban districts or in tropical jungle. I am mostly inspired by emotions in music, flavors of culture and bent realities in surreal films.
As a photographer, I am interested in sharing the culture and lifestyle through my photos and I am open to collaborations among other artists who share the same drive and passion as I do. As a traveler, I am deeply curious about the lives of locals and how their culture was brought up that way. I am keen about waking up in new places – seeing and experiencing things first - hand and sharing meals with locals and tasting the distinct flavors that each culture carries.
Work / Education
I travel as a breather from the daily grind. And as I find my self in unfamiliar places, my perspective shifts directly to what is in front of me - the daily lives of locals. From sharing meals and exchanging stories, to discovering secret spots and finding a sense of peace despite being lost, all of these pushed me to capture bits of my experiences and invoke the feeling that I felt through my photos.
