About me
I was born in 1982 and showed a creative flair from a very early age. With a fascination for art and design, I set out translating my ideas to paper. Although having started with the most basic mediums, being pencil, pen and paper, this eventually evolved into discovering other mediums like watercolours, markers, and most recently, acrylics on canvas, which I find most versatile for my style of work. I am open to various styles of painting, from brush to palette knife techniques. Recent work inhabit the area between abstraction and figuration. Inspiration comes from shapes, colours, textures and emotion the image hopes to portray, followed by an outline drawing to initiate the project. I've had two solo local exhibitions and three collective exhibitions. I was also featured in Volume 1 of The Artists’ Directory published this year by indulge.com.mt in Malta.
