About me
I'm 45 years old and I was born and raised in Alaska. I moved to Washington state in August of 2016. I was diagnosed with terminal, stage 4, HR2+ breast cancer December 28, 2017. I was told that, without chemo, I had less than a year to live. With chemo, I was told I had approximately 3 years left. This was over 2 years ago. Since that time, I have been fighting this disease the best way I know how. Not just with chemo but with positivity and with keeping myself busy, learning new crafts and hobbies. I have always loved modern abstract canvas paintings and have discovered that I can create the type of art I've always wanted to see hanging on my walls. I hope to leave my mark on this earth, thru my paintings.
Work / Education
I graduated high school in 1992 and took a CNA course a few months later. By the new year I had become a CNA and began working in assisted living homes and doing in home care. I always had the desire to leave Alaska and to see the rest of my country. From 1997, up until several years ago, I spent much of my time moving from state to state, trying to find a place my heart would truly call home. Thru the years I have worked many different jobs and acquired many different skills.
