About me
I am a visual artist who lives in Laguna, Philippines. I grew up in a small village in Batangas City, far away from the city and have grown to love nature. There I discovered how to draw while learning the alphabet at the same time. It was an exciting discovery to be able to draw while nobody else there can do it but unfortunately, my art was not given too much importance at that time because no one had ever heard anyone becoming successful in the arts. While I continued to pursue a degree in that field, my goal was to find work in big companies so painting was the least in my mind. After years of office working, I got invited to join a group art exhibition and there it all started. That day I knew that painting/creating art was what I really loved to do.
My art speaks about my culture, love of nature and the drive to protect the environment. I paint using watercolor, acrylic and oil but recently I do sculptures using clay with mixed media on wood.
Work / Education
I am a visual artist. My past work experiences included working in animation productions as animator, layout artist and digital background artist. I started painting in November 2011 and have been joining group art exhibitions in different galleries in Manila ever since.
I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Major in Advertising. I also finished a 2-year course in Commercial Arts under Fine Arts in University of Santo Tomas.
