Description
About me
I am an artist from Manila, Philippines. I decided to be a self-employed artist after working in marketing and events management for almost 3 years. My works are always personal, even if they are commissions. I always put something of myself in my paintings. My works always reflect my thoughts and feelings about women empowerment, life/living, death, acceptance of the "others", and going against inhumane aspects of the system and society. I might not be able to create big changes in the world with my works, but making even just one viewer think, see something in a different light, or make them feel something is already enough for me.
Work / Education
I first took up Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Fine Arts and Communication, in the Ateneo De Manila University. After working in marketing and events management for almost three years, I left the corporate world and pursued my love for art. I took up Studio Arts in the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts.
