About me
I'm a portrait artist, a creative writer, an Illustrator, a Lyricist, an unpublished poet and unemployed Fine Art teacher.
I was Born George Emordi; 23 years ago in Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
George Troy is my Artistic name and nickname right from High school,
I'm multi-talented and at Age 7; I discovered my talents including sketching Art, Football and Music in a country where Art or creativity is not supported nor Well appreciated.
My Family told me told me to stop drawing and Discard anything pertaining to Art at that Tender age and I did.
But at Age 13; My Love for Art emerged again and at Age 21 in October 2020, I moved away from my family, passionately and Stubbornly began to Draw and write again after graduating from an auto upholstery training in September 2020.
As a Self Taught portrait artist by practicing everyday and watching YouTube tutorials; I sold my first commissioned piece in November 2020.

I graduated from High school in 2016/17. didn't have to continue with University since I wasn't allowed to study Fine Art in other to get a degree, However I got really improved in my style of Art to a standard level by practicing everyday.
I usually get my inspiration from the reality of my world, so I created a Graphite and Charcoal drawing series entitled (Hell On Earth) in 2021 and another mixed media series entitled (Reality Of Agony) in 2021/22, however original pieces, prints and T shirts of all pieces in each series is available Now.
I have a Facebook page (GeorgeTroy Art) where my Art and poetry can be seen, and also a whatsapp group where I share my experience and teaches beginners for free online.
