I am a self taught photographer, videographer, and painter. I've struggled with mental illness for three years and found that creating art was a way to heal. As an eighteen year old who works mainly with her cell phone to create, I've found an entirely new and exciting world through working with photography. My work has become a direct translation of the way my mind functions. The artistic community I've discovered through creating art has been absolutely crucial to healing and becoming a better creator, and person. If I could do anything with my work I would love to bring awareness to mental illness alongside gender and inequality issues.
Work / Education
I've attended high school in Ohio for the past four years of my life. I've spent the past two summers interning and working for a video production company in Seattle, Washington. I'm also experienced in doing official work for the school district along with the Ohio School Board. I've also worked the past four years in more "traditional" teenager jobs in retail and food.
