About me
Gangga Saputra, a Visual Artist specialized in printmaking. Studied Visual Communication Design in STISI, he then continued his master degree majoring in Fine Art at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
Having a background in graphic design, he then later decided to pursue his career in art through drawing, painting and printmaking, especially etching, the activities that have long been attached to him. For Gangga, they are his reflection in facing the society who is addicted to speed, with the demand of getting fast and faster each day and also as a tools to overcome the fear of slowing down. It is the process that demands patience and intimacy, an intimate conversation between he and his soul that embrace himself as a human in the midst of nature. He now resides and work in Bandung as a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and a mural artist.
