About me
Patricia Davies Boyce is a freelance photographer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her work explores the evolution of identity through the objectification of self. (i.e. I was my only available model in most cases).
Recent work has been centered around self-portraiture and experimenting with color, light and time using studio lighting. Catharsis for difficult times. I am on a never ending quest to learn new techniques and using myself a model gives me the freedom to experiment. Color and studio lightning is my focus as of late.
I measure everything in photos.

16 years of trial and error and a lot of life experiences.
A mostly self-taught photographer, I fell in love with photography in the dark room at the local community college. Digital photography has allowed me to learn through trial an error. YouTube has been in incredible source of information....
