Laila Tifah was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 1971. Latest Education report and Program S1 study Interior Design Faculty of Art and Design, Indonesian Art Institute Yogyakarta, 1992 - 1997. Small painting of the influence of his father who was also a painter, Nasjah Djamin. Because every day see his father paint, the desire to keep paint is never lost until now, although had experienced vacuum painting in college majoring in interior design.
Home environment that is familiar with the smell of paint, canvas rolls, as well as support from the father who is not stingy provide painting tools (although during his father never taught and commented on his paintings), are the things that make for Laila to start painting.
"Perhaps you would like to give you the widest freedom and do not want to curb children's fantasy that was in me at that time. And the freedom of expression, brought up to now and make me keep looking for the things that satisfy me in the painting". Laila more objects working women, "Because she's a woman surrounded by a lot of women since childhood and I am more familiar with the form, matter, and the distinctiveness of women".
