This image is part of the Oil and digital and love project, a series of photocollages, in which Laura Livia Grigore recreates the way her imagination works. By superimposing photographs of her paintings,drawings or sculptures and photographs she takes in her daily life, the artist reconstructs the imaginative, blurry world of a painter. The Oil and digital and love project is an encounter with the inner, intimate mechanisms of the process of creation. For each of her visual work, she writes a poem in order to fully capture the current mood. Furthermore, she reads the poems herself, attracting the listener into a complete acoustic and visual experience. Oil and digital love is an unique blend of fast surrealism, consciousness art, written and spoken poetry and last but not least, the full, colourful palette of emotions. The project supports the artist's idea that as technology advances, the creativity of mankind will increase because genuine art is not measured in number of pixels or words and people just need the courage to explore their imagination and to listen to their unique inner voice.
