The protector of those who are viewed as "the others", the odd ones, the outsiders.

She is the first of the many strong women that I painted. Pregnant, as it is one of the powerful things a female can do, carry another human being in her womb. Behind her are thorned roses, similar to her, beautiful, but don't mess with her. A giant inverted triangle, a symbol of the womb, leading to the bright red sun, a source of life. She protects all forms of life, as they are all important, no matter how small, different, unnatural.

The lambs represent the outsiders, the "others". They are often shunned and misunderstood. As Jesus protected his lambs, so will the warrior queen. That is her oath.
