It is a beautiful metaphor for the artistic act itself. The sketches are the planet's atmosphere, in this case artistic work. ... it is still unfinished. All those sketches do his artwork to grow, to be alive. The birds are those that transfer ideas, thoughts from the author's creation, witch becomes a wonderful whole, with a self-contained life.. Beautiful reprezentation of the artistic act !
