Update:
When I created this piece, I was feeling very lost, alone, and hopeless. These feelings are a constant battle and struggle. Though I stand on a cliff looking down at past experiences, gravity could always win.
The left represents the cliff and the top right represents the fall. I choose to paint this in monochrome to really keep the mood and focus strong and intriguing.
