TCBDHFTLOGBTACNADOP
Description
TCBDHFTLOGBTACNADOP or ''This could be Damien Hirst's ''For the love of God'' but the author could not afford diamond or platinum''. It's made from something that can be found on oak trees, I don't know english word for it, but it's part of early stage of acorn (or oak nut), anyways it's spikey. I painted the sculpture blue, because I wanted to be distinctive from previous earthly brownish color, because it's no longer a part of nature, like human. This is poor version of ''For the love of God'' or any other bejeweled skull. I believe that the true value of this sculpture is not in the name of it, of much more celebrated ''For the love of God'', I didn't wanted to borrow it's glory, I simply wanted to make something out of the creative materials I had, and to remind: it's not always the materials that make something that is art, it's idea and crativity which make the profound and true part of it. This is my first upload on this site, I hope that those who had something to say about this sculpture will do in comments or via private message. Looking forward to that. Cheers
