2016's Inktober Day 9 prompt was "Broken" it reminded me of this girl I saw once on the train who was in the position shown in my drawing. It was a long day, and she was most likely about to fall asleep from being tired. in that way the day has broken her composure and forced her into trying to hold herself up. I pushed her status further and applied broken on an emotional level. Something has destroyed her emotional state, and she is suffering so much on the inside it pours out of her eyes. Steaming tears but cooler in comparison to her heated body. Sorrow with simmering anger. Vulnerable but a ticking time bomb. I liked drawing this piece, she has a nice purse
