Herencia, birthright. It is the heritage of the artist; from Stella to Mesopotamia. It is the inheritance of our natural resources, from the natural rock formations the pieces resemble to the plaster they're made out of. It's my birthright as a first generation immigrant and as the son of a construction worker and a housekeeper.
