This was an entry for an online art competition with a galaxy theme. I was inspired to write something and that writing inspired this painting. Here it is:
I like to think that I'm a universe condensed for this alone could explain this heaviness clinging to my bones, like the perfume of an old lover that refuse to fade. These multitudes of galaxies I am keeping hostage are weighing me down in every breath, with every step.
I can hear the clock ticking.
I'm a big bang waiting to happen.
