While thinking of different objects to add to my macro photos of my quartz crystal, I remembered what one of my artist friends said about only using a part of a photo instead of the whole thing. Then I thought that the image of a pair of legs in heels would look really interesting against the crystal background. I talked over the idea with a model friend of mine and she volunteered her legs to be used in future pieces. But I couldn't wait for her to get back from Europe to experiment with the idea. So I found a perfect shot and went to work. I really love the results and am going to be doing more with this soon.
