What lies in the center of recent works manifesting the diverse scenes of several Asian cities including Korea, is not any specific building or person, or event but the scene itself in which the artificial lights illuminate in the darkness. What stands out of it is the cluster of lights, while the universal components that make a city mix into the background as shadowed fading in silhouette. This cluster of lights creates each different faces of cities. The city contained in the works of Park, Sang-hee is not the city of widely awakened daylight but the city of night. Yet the city of night also does not in sleep.
