Misinformed Marvels of the Junk Age - The Sea Turtle
Description
‘They called these creatures Turtles... Our Elders spoke of them growing as tall as a tree and could dive down to the darkest depths of the Murky Sea. I don’t know what a tree is but our elders say they were mighty big things! With all the metals we have lying around I thought I'd recreate one.' - Mason Gray. Year 2206
This is one of several Illustrations for my my series 'Tales from the Bronze Lands.' The Illustrations are based off excerpts from people set in a far future where the creatures we know today no longer exist. In a world that has fallen ill with lands that are covered with junk, the people of this time set to learn about their past, recreating these long lost creatures through the vast bronze lands of scraps that surround them.
