Seahorses are the ultimate romantic love story. Mating for life, each morning they make their way to their mate and dance together. Each pair has their unique dance all their own. Then again in the evening in the ocean's twilight the pair will find eachother again to dance their evening dance before returning to their night's rest.
This eligan piece uses seahorse silhouettes against a background of acrylic painted waves. Beadwork drips from the canvas, bordered by chopped up CDs to resemble seaglass.
This is a double sided painting, meaning that both the front and the back of the canvas were painted and embellished to create two individual pieces that beautifully compliment each other.
