Fantasy In Everyday Life
Description
I became interested in the clumsy and ugly appearances of the city at some time and I started to take pictures of the city. Perhaps, the only emergency exit that I found in a dull life in which I have even felt dreaming is extravagant might be the very act of taking pictures by seeing surroundings as unfamiliar. Most of scenes were made by accident without any plans and aesthetic consideration. For this reason, I fancied my active involvement, saying to myself “it would be better if something was added here” while looking at them. I printed photos and started to organize the balance in a frame with objects around me as if I put in the last piece of a puzzle. This work that I complete as surreal conception with the scenery I captured during the daytime I get out to work became considered as an important thing. When there is lack of the number of the objects I have, I often found new objects. Although I did not prepared it in prior due to no use it was easy to obtain from surroundings. Mainly it was thing that leads us very easily to optical illusion, for example, circular objects, transparent or twinkling things, the various colors and so on. The objects functioned as a role in making ordinary scenery extraordinary instead of use for its original function. I took a picture of this work one more to record as a piece of art. This process served as a momentum of the work.
