Maps lend a backdrop to my images. I use them to add subtlety, depth, richness, under the final images.

These creatures/characters came from intuitive drawing or meandering line that at some point congealed into recognizable people like forms.

My process often starts as doodling, then becomes rational editing, decision making, then back into a chaotic stream, back into producing a final piece.
