“The Prosperous Calendar” - Blaise Smith. A technique I developed that utilizes simple geometric principles based around the center using a special latex/mortar mix and special combs. While I was volunteering for litter removal at the park I began to experiment with my rake. I would choose a center and then create a repetitive pattern to imprint around it. If I was centered the pattern would link up and become mathematically sound . If I was off balance the pattern would become uneven. This was a meditation that evolved into an art form.
