This piece is inspired by my torturous and constant battles with my inner demons. Living with bipolar disorder puts your soul in an internal tension-- at a frequency so much higher than when your soul is at peace. Sometimes, despite your best efforts, you lose the will to fight. You end up excusing yourself from living, temporarily.

But sometimes, you are able to fight hard enough, forcefully enough that eventually-- a glimmer of hope breaks open.
