In the summer of 2011 I had the opportunity to explore the beautiful country of Italy. On our trip I had a chance to visit the awe inspiring city of Florence. Like most Italian cities, Florence breathes art through all of it's pores. World famous statues litter the street and it seems like every inch of the city is covered with delicate carvings and elaborate decorations. Even the light in this city seems of a higher quality somehow. We only spent two short days in the city, I fell like I only scratched the surface, but I left Florence with over 300 photographs and some of the most dramatic shadows I'd ever shot.
