One is during September like the events of autumnal and spring equinox; when time of day and night are equal in length.
Portrayed in my artwork, Equinox are two different worlds and souls that meet for the same purpose: to flourish in life and love, as they struggle between light and darkness, between life and death.
Equinox tells the story of important opposite identities: the Spring which symbolizes beginning, new life and growth. Spring is represented by a man who is, the giver of seeds of life.
The woman represents the autumn, a time where leaves are falling but also an important event of harvest. She receives the seeds and reaps its fruits. Equinox is the moment when two worlds revolved around the sun, the source of light and life. Both opposite identities is a equilibrium of male and female energies. Just like the day has its night, and night has its day, the sun has its moon, the moon to its stars; water for the fire.
