The theory provides an overview of changes in human life, where the cultural pillar is not able to function properly in the face of new cultures that come, in this case associated with the development of technology today. One example that occurs in Bali is how Bali is at the crossroads between surviving the tradition or being dragged into modernity, which is unique from Bali and is able to combine these two elements and make it a kind of pop culture. Talking about popular culture refers to one characteristic that is fashion. Fashion or lifestyle is closely related to fashion, in the beginning Balinese traditional dress was a dress that could be said to be simple only kebaya and kain (kamben), but with the entry of modernity the issue of traditional dress became a prestige thing in Bali. Several new styles have sprung up and made the community boisterous to consume them. This phenomenon is the reason to visualize it in two-dimensional artwork.
