I experienced a lot of up and down emotionally when i worked on this painting. The feeling that it was not enough, that he might be dissapointed, that he did not like it, scare me out and frankly i was almost neglect this work.
So when i was finally done.. what come to my mind was : I GOT YOU DAD !

My Dad came from very small island in Indonesia, named Rote. And he is so proud with this traditional outfit that remind him of his father that actually was a king of one tribe in Rote.
