This time, I was influenced more by my own personal emotions and feelings. A mixture of anxiety, resistance, regret, anticipation, chaos, confusion, the CHANCE of happiness, and just a dash of HOPE to tie it all together in such an incredibly beautiful way.
The flow of these darker choices of colors were a new territory for me in my Acrylic Pouring journey. (red, green, blue, & gold) Recently I've been using brighter colors with mainly a white chosen for my base color in nearly every piece so far in my collection. This was the first time that I tried using no white at all, no black at all, and only having some mild metallic tones to capture that little glimmer, that little "chance of happiness", along with just a touch of mixed-down glitter to barely give it the slightest glimpse of a sparkle. Which is suppose to resemble the "dash of hope" within the meaning of it all.
Looking deeply and carefully at the waves inside of other waves on top of layers upon layers of pattern of colors.. you can clearly see each and every emotion and feeling. Trying desperately to correlate with one another and nearly doing so gracefully. Until they hit the ends of the canvas, the ends of our mind's ability to cope and manage all of the struggles and confusing circumstances that life has generously dished upon our laps with no shame at all, but an obvious amount of pride.
I hope that someone is able to connect with this art work like I have. My Acrylic Pouring journey has only just begun! I can't wait to see where the universe will lead me next, and how many new and amazing things I can learn while it happens!
Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time out of your day to read this, therefore giving me the opportunity to explain to you what this piece means to me. I would love to hear your thoughts, opinions, ideas, and even any critiques that you may have in mind. IF you would like to share those with me, of course! Hearing these things from other people's perspective is a key factor in how we grow as artist's. Without it, we are limiting ourselves only to what we can see in our own mind's, therefore there can be no growth, no extension of depth or expansion of inspiration.
MUCH love from Texas! 💖🇨🇱💖 Thanks again for checking out my work today! Stay tuned for much more, coming soon y'all!
