Roundism – 16-10-19
Description
Roundism – 16-10-19
After a bunch of landscapes and cityscapes I felt it was time to return to my roundism ladies. For me changing the theme once in a while is very useful. I forget about model sketching for a while and see what happens after some time. I was inspired by the model in the reference picture showing attractive triangles and I decided to focus on the rhythym tonal values show, contrasting abrupt contour delineations with gradual transitions.
Graphite pencil drawing (Pentel 0.5 mm, 3B) on Canson Bristol paper (21 x 29.7 x 0.1 cm) - A4 format)
Artist: Corné Akkers
