Happy Family is a thematic series of oil paintings that I am constantly working on.
With the title 'Happy Family' I refer to the underlying 'theme' of these portraits: sad, in thought, introverted, hilarious and so on. People who have to do with what I call 'Time between seconds'. The expression on the face 'trapped' at extremely defining moments in life that pass you by in a split second. The portrait is sort of framed, the wooden edges
are sawn at an angle of 15 degrees (look at photo for details)
I always try to use responsibly sourced materials.
On the back the portrait is dated and provided with a name and signature and A Certificate Of Authenticity.
The work is equipped with hardware to be able to hang it directly on the wall.
