Just carving steel with a cutting torch, then welding it to the forged steel bar. My own technique of carving metal using a oxy/acet torch. The sculptures are always unique, and one of a kind. Fun, and dangerous to make. the process starts with a base material of a bar stock upset into a bulged shape. The best time to start carving is right after hot forming the bar. Being already warmed up the torch cuts immediately.
