I had a vision of a flower with a head, and the idea of a flower head amused me, so I built this. The idea came to me a while ago since I make these heads carved out of solid steel, and flower/tree sculptures, to make a flower head, and this is a flower head of the highest order of plant spirits. Its third eye opening abundant energy is strong, and it towers over other plants not to dominate but keep watch and protect them. The head is carved using a cutting torch and a press to form the head into a shape. The pedals, and main stem as well as the legs, are forged with a trip hammer. It's coated with Acrylic based metal dust paint, a mixture of copper bronze and brass. High quality enamel seals the paint in, and protects against the elements.
