This is a place in my hometown Bochum, showing a minor museum. For me it's kind of the symbol of the city.
I feel very connectet to it because I visited it often in my childhood and my school is right next to it. Therefore it's my view every moring when I go to school. Last month I had this beatiful sight during sunrise. I got very sentimental because I wondered how often I will see this again, since I am gratuading soon and school is closed many times because of covid. So I decided to create this painting to ceep this image and feeling in mind.
The sunrise reminded me of the change that will come, that this will be something that reminds me of my past.
