Democracy may have fallen for now in Afghanistan but ideas do not disappear so easily. One cannot kill whispers on the wind. The Taliban cannot crush a dream. Our hearts are with the people of Afghanistan, and with the millions of children affected by the unfolding crisis. All children deserve a safe childhood and access to quality early education.
