봄부터 겨울까지의 사계절의 아름다움을 각각 표현한 연작 중 여름입니다. 계절의 순환, 시간의 흐름에 대해서도 생각해보며 만든 작품입니다. 사슴을 비롯한 모든 동물, 인간도 계절의 순환, 시간의 흐름에 따라 조금씩 바뀌어가지요. 겉모습도 바뀌나 마음도 바뀝니다. 시간이 흐른다는 사실, 그리고 그 안에 나 또한 존재한다는 사실은 어떤 식으로든 우리에게 메시지를 주는 것 같습니다. 흐르는 시간 속에서 어떤 이는 미래를 걱정할 수도 있고, 현재를 집중해서 살자고 다짐할 수도 있고, 과거를 후회할지도 모르겠습니다. 저는 현재의 나의 모습에 만족하고 나를 사랑하며 지금 열심히 살자는 다짐을 하게 되네요.

All animals and humans, including deer, also change little by little with the cycle of the seasons and the passage of time. The appearance changes, but the mind changes. The fact that time passes, and that I also exist in it, seems to give us a message in some way. In the course of time, some people may worry about the future, may decide to focus on the present, or may regret the past. I'm satisfied with my present self, love myself, and I'm determined to live hard now.
